Processing happens at two Group facilities — BXTW-FAC-1 in Kaohsiung Qianzhen and BXGC-FAC-3 in Fuzhou. Between them, primary processing, secondary cutting, seasoning, and value-added forms run continuously, with each plant holding the regulatory approvals required by its destination markets. The two-plant footprint is the operational basis for cross-strait coverage.
The two plants are deliberately separated by jurisdiction. BXTW-FAC-1 in Kaohsiung operates under TFDA HACCP for Taiwan-origin processing and re-export. BXGC-FAC-3 in Fuzhou holds GACC certification for both Mainland China domestic distribution and China-origin export. Both are EU-listed.

Each line covers the canonical four-tier process — primary processing into secondary cutting into seasoning into value-added forms. Pack format, freezing format, glaze percentage, and treatment routing are configured at the inquiry stage rather than fixed at the line.
01
Sort by species, size, and grade. Eviscerate and establish the primary form before secondary processing.
02
Secondary cuts performed to spec. Patterned cuts (cross-hatch, rosette) on cephalopod tubes are an established squid-line specialty.
03
Marinade dwell, batter application, breading, smoke ovens. Routed to the appropriate post-processing path per buyer spec.
04
Formed and assembled product — surimi paste lines, skewer assembly, fishball forming, prepared salad lines, sausage processing.
BXTW-FAC-1 runs Illex argentinus cleaned tubes, rings, carved squid, and tentacles, plus Calamari Steak for North American foodservice. BXGC-FAC-3 runs the deeper range — broader Illex cut variants plus the in-house Dosidicus gigas line.
FAO 41 · SW Atlantic
SW Atlantic raw material — drawn from Taiwan-origin Falklands EEZ-licensed jiggers, Mainland China high-seas jiggers, and Argentine-EEZ fleet partnerships — processed at both facilities into structured cleaned-cephalopod ranges.
FAO 87 · SE Pacific
SE Pacific raw material — drawn from Mainland China distant-water jiggers (component supply and equatorial whole round) plus Peru and Chile partner-plant landfrozen — processed at both facilities, with the deeper in-house line at BXGC-FAC-3.
All processed-product packaging is customisable per buyer specification — bag/carton size, glazing percentage, freezing format, and pack configuration are adjusted at the inquiry stage, not fixed on the line.
Individually quick-frozen on the spiral tunnel line. Pieces remain free-flowing for foodservice portioning and retail thaw-and-cook.
Plate-frozen at the BK cabinets, with shatter-pack and interleaved pack variations on the same line. Standard for whole-round product and Block-pack cleaned tubes destined for re-cutting at destination.
Post-freeze surface glaze applied before pack-out. Glaze percentage configurable per consignment; declared on COA.
Both BXTW-FAC-1 and BXGC-FAC-3 operate dual post-processing paths on the cleaned-tube and value-added lines. Each consignment is routed to the EU-treated path or the non-treated path at the buyer's choice — the choice is reflected in the unit price and declared on the catch certificate. The default for EU consignments is treated; the default for Asian markets is non-treated. Either can be requested explicitly.
For inquiries that fit the catalog. 10kg or 5kg carton, standard IQF or Block freezing, glaze and treatment defaults per origin and species. Default carton specifications listed on each species page.
For inquiries with specific retail or foodservice pack requirements. Private label and custom-spec orders accepted; minimum order quantities vary by product, configuration, and treatment routing — confirmed at the inquiry stage. Cut dimensions, ring widths, glaze percentage, bag size, master carton, and treatment routing all adjusted to spec.
Each plant holds the listings required to serve its destination markets. BXTW-FAC-1 is structured around Taiwan-origin processing and re-export; BXGC-FAC-3 serves both China-origin export and the Mainland China domestic market. Destination-market listings are verifiable through the relevant authority.
The four-tier flow runs across the broader processing range. Pacific saury, mackerels, and the wider value-added category share the same lines and the same approval base; the squid line's operational depth carries across.
NPFC-region sourcing. Whole-round, steak-cut, butterfly-cut for foodservice and value-added inputs. Mentaiko, Tsukudani, and skewered preparations in the value-added line.
Scomber japonicus, S. australasicus, and Auxis rochei run as W/R, HGT, or fillet. Histamine controls applied throughout the scombrid lines.
Squid paste, shrimp paste, fishball stuffing, lobster-flavour salads, fried salad balls, snow-crab rolls. The full Tier IV range runs at BXGC-FAC-3 with line capacity for private-label R&D collaboration.
Trade discussions begin with a specification — species, grade, processing form, freezing format, glaze, treatment routing, pack, volume, destination, and timing. The trade team responds with availability, indicative pricing, and the production pathway that backs the offer. Initial response within 48 hours.
